On the number of eigenvalues of Schrödinger operators with complex potentials [PDF]
We study the eigenvalues of Schrödinger operators with complex potentials in odd space dimensions. We obtain bounds on the total number of eigenvalues in the case where V decays exponentially at infinity.

A numerical method for the solution of plane crack problems in finite media
A general method for the solution of plane isotropic elasticity crack problems inside a finite medium of arbitrary shape or an infinite medium with holes of arbitrary shape is presented.

Post-prior equivalence for transfer reactions with complex potentials [PDF]
In this paper, we address the problem of the post-prior equivalence in the calculation of inclusive breakup and transfer cross sections. For that, we employ the model proposed by Ichimura, Austern, and Vincent [Phys. Rev.

ORGANISMAL COMPLEXITY AND THE POTENTIAL FOR EVOLUTIONARY DIVERSIFICATION [PDF]
We present two theoretical approaches to investigate whether organismal complexity, defined as the number of quantitative traits determining fitness, and the potential for adaptive diversification are correlated. The first approach is independent of any specific ecological model and based on curvature properties of the fitness landscape as a function ...

1-dimensional Schrodinger operators with complex potentials
We discuss 1-dimensional Schrodinger operators with complex and locally integrable potentials that may have an arbitrary behavior at (finite or infinite) endpoints.

Stability of soliton families in nonlinear Schrödinger equations with non-parity-time-symmetric complex potentials [PDF]
Stability of soliton families in one-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equations with non-parity-time ( PT )-symmetric complex potentials is investigated numerically.

Solution of the problem on bending of a multiconnected piecewise homogeneous electromagnetoelastic thin plate [PDF]
Using the complex potentials of the theory of bending of thin electromagnetoelastic plates, a solution has been obtained to the problem of bending a multiconnected piezoplate with elliptical inclusions made of other materials.
