Path integral complexity and Kasner singularities [PDF]
AbstractWe explore properties of path integral complexity in field theories on time dependent backgrounds using its dual description in terms of Hartle-Hawking wavefunctions. In particular, we consider boundary theories with time dependent couplings which are dual to Kasner-AdS metrics in the bulk with a time dependent dilaton. We show that holographic

We present the results of a study of the Poynting vector field generic singularities at the resonant light scattering of a plane monochromatic linearly polarized electromagnetic wave by a subwavelength particle.

Singular Value Decomposition of Complexes [PDF]
Singular value decompositions of matrices are widely used in numerical linear algebra with many applications. In this paper, we extend the notion of singular value decompositions to finite complexes of real vector spaces. We provide two methods to compute them and present several applications.

Axisymmetric solutions to Einstein field equations via integral transforms
In this paper, we present new axisymmetric and reflection symmetric vacuum solutions to the Einstein field equations. They are obtained using the Hankel integral transform method and all three solutions exhibit naked singularities.

Rigidity properties of holomorphic Legendrian singularities [PDF]
We study the singularities of Legendrian subvarieties of contact manifolds in the complex-analytic category and prove two rigidity results. The first one is that Legendrian singularities with reduced tangent cones are contactomorphically biholomorphic to

On the Links of Simple Singularities, Simple Elliptic Singularities and Cusp Singularities
This is a survey article about the study of the links of some complex hypersurface singularities in ℂ3 . We study the links of simple singularities, simple elliptic singularities and cusp singularities, and the canonical contact structures on them. It is

Complete intersection singularities of splice type as universal abelian covers [PDF]
It has long been known that every quasi-homogeneous normal complex surface singularity with Q-homology sphere link has universal abelian cover a Brieskorn complete intersection singularity.

Right unimodal and bimodal singularities in positive characteristic [PDF]
The problem of classification of real and complex singularities was initiated by Arnol'd in the sixties who classified simple, unimodal and bimodal w.r.t. right equivalence.

In this article we obtain the geometric classification of singularities, finite and infinite, for the three subclasses of quadratic differential systems with $m_f=4$ possessing exactly two finite singularities, namely: (i) systems with two double complex
