Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Environmental dependence of visible anthocyanin accumulation mediated by the CmMYB6–CmbHLH2 complex
The anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway has been investigated as a candidate for visual reporting in plants, due to its pigment-producing capacity. Activation of this pathway is predominantly regulated by MYB-bHLH regulatory complexes.

Atherosusceptible Shear Stress Activates Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress to Promote Endothelial Inflammation. [PDF]
Atherosclerosis impacts arteries where disturbed blood flow renders the endothelium susceptible to inflammation. Cytokine activation of endothelial cells (EC) upregulates VCAM-1 receptors that target monocyte recruitment to atherosusceptible regions ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Сoncentrated force acting near the tip of an interface crack with a rigid overlay on its side
Plane stress state near the tip of an interface crack induced by specified concentrated force is considered. One of the crack faces is partially reinforced by a rigid straight line overlay.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Finite Element Computations of Complex Stress Intensity Factor Magnitude of Interfacial Crack in Bi-Material Composites [PDF]
Composite structures are distinguished by interfaces separating their different layers. These interfaces represent region of mismatches in mechanical and thermal properties of the adjacent layers. These regions are rich in cracks which are laying either on or sub- the interface in a direction parallel or perpendicular to it.

A novel weight function for RMS stress intensity factor determination in surface cracks [PDF]
This paper discusses the problem of stress intensity factor determination in surface cracks. In particular, the concept of root mean square stress intensity factors (RMS SIF) is discussed for the general class of semi-elliptical surface cracks.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.
