Hybrid Reliability-Based Design Optimization of Complex Structures With Random and Interval Uncertainties Based on ASS-HRA

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, an efficient hybrid reliability analysis (HRA) method and a hybrid reliability-based design optimization (HRBDO) approach are proposed for realistic complex engineering structures with random and interval uncertainties.

Diagnostics of thin-walled structures of complex geometry and structure

open access: yesStructural Mechanics of Engineering Constructions and Buildings, 2021
The main stages of the birth of thin-walled structures, changes in their relative thickness and mass of a unit area are given; ways of creating perfect thin-walled structures are indicated.

Symplectic, product and complex structures on 3-Lie algebras

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, first we introduce the notion of a phase space of a 3-Lie algebra and show that a 3-Lie algebra has a phase space if and only if it is sub-adjacent to a 3-pre-Lie algebra.

Complex projective structures

open access: yes, 2009
This is a survey of the theory of complex projective (CP^1) structures on compact surfaces. After some preliminary discussion and definitions, we concentrate on three main topics: (1) Using the Schwarzian derivative to parameterize the moduli space (2) Thurston's parameterization of the moduli space using grafting (3) Holonomy representations of CP^1 ...

STABILITY OF ABELIAN COMPLEX STRUCTURES [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics, 2006
Let M = Γ\G be a nilmanifold endowed with an invariant complex structure. We prove that Kuranishi deformations of abelian complex structures are all invariant complex structures, generalizing a result in [7] for 2-step nilmanifolds. We characterize small deformations that remain abelian.

Psychological Safety Among Interprofessional Pediatric Oncology Teams in Germany: A Nationwide Survey

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Psychological safety (PS) is essential for teamwork, communication, and patient safety in complex healthcare environments. In pediatric oncology, interprofessional collaboration occurs under high emotional and organizational demands. Low PS may increase stress, burnout, and adverse events.

Implementation of digestion and characterization procedures for control standardization on samples of Gilthead Seabream (Sparus aurata) and plastic polymers from the coastal environment of the Asinara Gulf (Sardinia, Italy)

open access: yesApplied Food Research
The objective of the present study was the implementation of a digestion procedure along with Fourier transform infrared microscopy (μ-FTIR) analysis for control standardization on samples of Gilthead Seabream (Sparus aurata) and different types of ...

Optimal map of the modular structure of complex networks

open access: yes, 2010
Modular structure is pervasive in many complex networks of interactions observed in natural, social and technological sciences. Its study sheds light on the relation between the structure and function of complex systems.

Exercise Interventions in Children, Adolescents and Young Adults With Paediatric Bone Tumours—A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bone tumours present significant challenges for affected patients, as multimodal therapy often leads to prolonged physical limitations. This is particularly critical during childhood and adolescence, as it can negatively impact physiological development and psychosocial resilience.

A neutralizing-protective supersite of human monoclonal antibodies for yellow fever virus

open access: yesThe Innovation, 2022
The yellow fever virus (YFV) is a life-threatening human pathogen. Owing to the lack of available therapeutics, non-vaccinated individuals are at risk. Here, we isolated eight human monoclonal antibodies that neutralize YFV infection.
