Anchorage of composite dowels

Steel Construction, 2016
AbstractIn steel‐concrete composite beams, lifting effects between the steel section and the concrete slab usually occur incidentally and have comparatively small load ordinates compared with the shear forces transferred. For this reason, lifting forces are generally irrelevant for the dimensioning of the composite joint.

The composite resin dowel and core

The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1975
T o d a y ' s elnphasis on the maintenance and preservation of the natural dentition, combined with the success of endodontically treated teeth, has resulted in a variety of procedures to restore pulpless teeth. Unfortunately, the exact minimal mechanical and physical properties required for a dowel and core have not yet been defined.

Numerical study of steel–concrete composite beam with composite dowels connectors

Computers & Structures, 2021
Abstract The work presents the parametric study of a steel–concrete composite beam with composite dowel connectors. The designed beam is located in a highly loaded warehouse ceiling with a useful load of 20 kN/m2. In the first part of the work, the best solution of the composite dowel beam was selected from among 7 variants.
