PENGARUH JUS JERUK DAN MINUMAN BERKARBONASI TERHADAP KEKERASAN PERMUKAAN RESIN KOMPOSIT

open access: yesODONTO: Dental Journal, 2017
Background: Orange juice and Carbonat drink contains an acid agent which can affect the surface hardness of composite resin. Changes of surface hardness of composite resin is caused by infiltration of water containing the acid agent that affect the ...

Properties of electrical tree resistance of silicone‐modified epoxy resin matrix composites

open access: yesIET Science, Measurement & Technology, 2023
In order to improve the electrical tree resistance of epoxy resin, composites were prepared using dihydroxydiphenylsilane and a novel silicone modifier modified epoxy resin and micron silica, and the composites were subjected to accelerated thermal aging

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

The Effect of Espresso and Drip Brewing Coffee Methode to The Hardness of Bulk-Fill Composite Resin

open access: yesJurnal Kedokteran Diponegoro, 2022
Background: The most restoration material used currently in dentistry was composite resin. The newest generation of composite resin was bulk-fill composite resin. The bulk-fill composite resin had advantages of lower polymerization contraction and a more

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Interfacial microscopic examination and chemical analysis of resin-dentin interface of self-adhering flowable resin composite [version 4; referees: 2 approved]

open access: yesF1000Research, 2018
Background: The newly introduced self-adhering flowable resin-composites decrease the required time for application by incorporation of an acidic adhesive monomer, thus reducing the number of steps, but its bonding is still uncertain.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Shear bond strength of ceramic brackets to resin-composite surfaces

open access: yesAustralasian Orthodontic Journal, 1997
In this study, two types of ceramic brackets – monocrystalline and polycrystalline – were bonded to unroughened and roughened resin-composite discs using a light-cured orthodontic adhesive, and the bonds tested under shear stress in a universal testing ...
