A Study of Composition Formulas for the Unified Fractional Integral Operators

open access: yes, 2015
[[abstract]]In the present paper we derive three new and interesting composition formulas for a general class of fractional integral operators involving the product of a general class of polynomials, a general sequence of functions and a multivariable H ...

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Binormal Weighted Composition Operators on the Fock Space

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces
The aim of this paper is to obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions for weighted composition operators uCφ with φz=az+b a≤1, uz=ced¯z, where a,b,c,d∈ℂ, to be binormal or quasinormal on the Fock space F2. Surprisingly, the normality, quasinormality,

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Fixed point results on nonlinear composition operators A ∘ B $A\circ B$ and applications

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
This paper investigates a class of composition operators: the nonlinear operator T = A ∘ B $T=A\circ B$ and the sum-type operator T = A ∘ B + C $T=A\circ B+C$ , where A, B, and C are either single or bivariate operators. Here, “∘” denotes the composition

Composition operators similar to contractions

open access: yes, 2019
Operators of type f→f◦φ acting on function spaces are called composition operators. We consider composition operators acting on the Hilbert Hardy space on the open unit disc or the right half-plane, study when they are similar to contractions, and obtain

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Convergent sequences of composition operators

open access: yes, 2005
Composition operators Cφ on the Hilbert Hardy space H2 over the unit disk are considered. We investigate when convergence of sequences {φn} of symbols, (i.e., of analytic selfmaps of the unit disk) towards a given symbol φ, implies the convergence of the
