Mechanotransducing Organic Electrochemical Diode for Crosstalk‐Inhibited Artificial Skin
An innovative approach is presented to a stretchable mechanotransducing diode that unifies rectification and tactile‐sensing functionality. This approach enables to fabricate the diode that maintains a large rectification ratio (5 × 102) at a high operational frequency (100 Hz).

Delay-exponent of delay-universal compress-and-forward relaying
We study compress-and-forward relaying for delay-universal transmission over a three-terminal network. An important performance measure of delay-universal transmission is the delay-exponent. Two achievable bounds of the delay-exponent are derived. The delay-exponent achieved by a suboptimal message-truncating decoder is inferior to that achieved by an ...

Mesoporous Carbon Thin Films with Large Mesopores as Model Material for Electrochemical Applications
Mesoporous carbon thin films possessing 70 nm mesopores are prepared on titanium substrates by soft templating of resol resins with a self‐synthesized poly(ethylene oxide)‐block‐poly(hexyl acrylate) block copolymer. A strategy to avoid corrosion of the metal substrate is presented, and the films are extensively characterized in terms of morphology ...

Time-Frequency Analysis, Denoising, Compression, Segmentation, and Classification of PCG Signals
Phonocardigraphy (PCG) is the graphical representation of heart sounds. The PCG signal contains useful information about the functionality and the condition of the heart. It also provides an early indication of potential cardiac abnormalities. Extracting

Uplink multi-cell processing: Approximate sum capacity under a sum backhaul constraint [PDF]
—This paper investigates an uplink multi-cell processing (MCP) model where the cell sites are linked to a central processor (CP) via noiseless backhaul links with limited capacity. A simple compress-and-forward scheme is employed, where the base-stations

Shape‐Morphing Nanoengineered Hydrogel Ribbons as Hemostats
This study introduces a self‐assembling, shape‐morphing nanoengineered hydrogel ribbon system that rapidly forms porous aggregates in situ for efficient hemostasis in trauma and surgical applications. Abstract Rapid and effective hemorrhage control remains a major challenge in trauma and surgical care, particularly for complex or noncompressible wounds.

Productivity of a prototype truck-mounted logging residue bundler and a road-side bundling system
When recovering logging residues (LR) for bioenergy its density should be increased before road transport, otherwise a low proportion of the trucksâ load capacity will be used.

Lossy Source Transmission over the Relay Channel
Lossy transmission over a relay channel in which the relay has access to correlated side information is considered. First, a joint source-channel decode-and-forward scheme is proposed for general discrete memoryless sources and channels.

Selection Strategies for Flexible Pressure Sensor Electrode Materials Toward Ultrafast Response
This study reveals, for the first time, how the electrode–organic interface governs the temporal performance of flexible pressure sensors. By pairing high‐conductivity CVD PEDOT with commonly used metal electrodes, the authors demonstrate that interfacial energy alignment dictates microsecond‐scale response, providing a straightforward design strategy ...
