Spectral analysis of second order quantum difference operator over the sequence space lp (1 < p < ∞)

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы
In this article, we study the spectrum, fine spectrum and boundedness property of second order quantum difference operator ∆2q (0 < q < 1) over the class of sequence lp (1 < p < ∞), the pth summable sequence space.

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Study of Microwave Tomography Measurement Setup Configurations for Breast Cancer Detection Based on Breast Compression

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2013
Microwave tomography (MT) measurement setups for different configurations based on breast compression are compared to classical circular measurement setups.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

On Compressed Resolvents of Schrödinger Operators with Complex Potentials [PDF]

open access: yesComplex Analysis and Operator Theory, 2020
AbstractThe compression of the resolvent of a non-self-adjoint Schrödinger operator$$-\Delta +V$$-Δ+Vonto a subdomain$$\Omega \subset {\mathbb {R}}^n$$Ω⊂Rnis expressed in a Kreĭn–Naĭmark type formula, where the Dirichlet realization on$$\Omega $$Ω, the Dirichlet-to-Neumann maps, and certain solution operators of closely related boundary value problems ...

Operator type expansion-compression fixed point theorem

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2011
This article presents an alternative to the compression and expansion fixed point theorems of functional type by using operators and functions to replace the functionals and constants that are used in functional compression and expansion fixed point ...

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Compressing bitmap indexes for faster search operations [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings 14th International Conference on Scientific and Statistical Database Management, 2003
We study the effects of compression on bitmap indexes. The main operations on the bitmaps during query processing are bitwise logical operations. Using the general purpose compression schemes the logical operations on the compressed bitmaps are much slower than on the uncompressed bitmaps.

Operator compression with deep neural networks [Elektronisk resurs]

open access: yes, 2021
This paper studies the compression of partial differential operators using neural networks. We consider a family of operators, parameterized by a potentially high-dimensional space of coefficients that may vary on a large range of scales.

Spectrum and fine spectrum of the lower triangular matrix B r s t  , ,  over the sequence space cs [PDF]

open access: yesSongklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST), 2016
Fine spectra of various matrix operators on different sequence spaces have been examined by several authors. Recently, some authors have determined the approximate point spectrum, the defect spectrum and the compression spectrum of various matrix ...
