Computers and Clinical Psychiatry
IRE Transactions on Medical Electronics, 1960Psychiatrists collect a vast amount of clinical information in lengthy interviews with patients. It is proposed that this information can be reliably recorded on a series of scales in a form suitable for high-speed data processing. A method of recording currently in use in a Michigan hospital is presented and its advantages and disadvantages discussed.
