Photorealistic Rapid Computer-Generated Holography Employing an Enhanced Path Tracing Technique With Sequence Generated Trial

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2023
Fast holographic generation technology depends on the swift creation of computer-generated holograms (CGHs). Currently, the fast generation method of computer-generated holograms based on ray tracing is still based on non-physical ray tracing methods ...

Realistic Defocus Blur for Multiplane Computer-Generated Holography

open access: yes2023 IEEE Conference Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces (VR), 2023
This paper introduces a new multiplane CGH computation method to reconstruct artefact-free high-quality holograms with natural-looking defocus blur. Our method introduces a new targeting scheme and a new loss function. While the targeting scheme accounts for defocused parts of the scene at each depth plane, the new loss function analyzes focused and ...

Ferroelectric Dynamic‐Field‐Driven Nucleation and Growth Model for Predictive Materials‐To‐Circuit Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a compact dynamic‐field‐driven nucleation and growth (DFNG) model that captures ferroelectric switching behavior under arbitrary voltage waveforms. It enables extraction of time‐dependent domain wall velocity and growth dimensionality, which can then be extended to device‐level modeling.
