Special Issue on Digital Holographic 3D Imaging: Capture, Display, and Evaluation

open access: yesETRI Journal, 2019
Holography has been fascinating people for almost 70 years (since Gabor's invention in 1947) as a true three‐dimensional (3D) imaging technology that can replicate 3D scenes in free space.

Holography with high-power CW coherent terahertz source: optical components, imaging, and applications

open access: yesLight: Advanced Manufacturing, 2022
This paper presents the results of 15 years of studies in the field of terahertz holography at the Novosibirsk free electron laser. They cover two areas: research on obtaining holographic images in the terahertz range and the use of diffractive optical ...

Extreme‐Thickness Meta‐Membrane for Controlling Terahertz Vectorial Beams

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We propose ultra‐thin (λ/30) transmissive terahertz metasurfaces combining near‐field resonant and detour phases in coupled‐slit meta‐atoms, enabling continuous phase and polarization control beyond conventional designs. Based on leaky‐mode theory, scalar and vectorial terahertz Bessel beams at 0.39 THz are experimentally demonstrated, with ...

Holographic Encryption Applications Using Composite Orbital Angular Momentum Beams

open access: yesPhotonics, 2022
Optical orbital angular momentum (OAM) holography has been developed and implemented as a vital method for optical encryption. However, OAM holography can only be encoded and decoded with an OAM beam, which limits the level of optical encryption.

Super‐Resolution and High‐Data‐Density Acoustic Meta‐Hologram via Amplitude and Phase Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A super‐resolution acoustic meta‐hologram utilizes amplitude‐phase coupling under energy conservation constraints to overcome the traditional diffraction limit. This conceptually advanced approach achieves high‐fidelity acoustic field reconstruction and dense information transmission, unlocking new potentials for high‐resolution acoustic imaging and ...

A Bifunctional Organosilane Additive for Dynamic pH Regulation and Interfacial Protection in Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel multifunctional additive for aqueous zinc‐ion battery electrolytes can simultaneously dynamically adjust the pH in microzones, regulate the solvation structure of Zn2+, protect the interface, and form a stable solid‐state SEI film. This approach enables a dendrite‐free zinc anode and demonstrates excellent cycling stability and cycle life ...

Performance Estimation of Intensity Accumulation Display by Computer-Generated Holograms

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
The image generated by binary computer-generated holograms (CGHs) always suffers from serious speckle noise. Thanks to the fast frame rate of the binary spatial light modulator, the speckle can be significantly suppressed by intensity accumulation, i.e.,

Disrupting Helicobacter pylori Iron Homeostasis With Bismuth Nanodrug‐Mediated Nutritional Trap for Targeted Gastric Infection Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A “nutritional trap” strategy centered on disrupting bacterial iron homeostasis is proposed. The synthesized Bi‐TP@FU (TBF) can target Helicobacter pylori, interfere with the bacterial iron uptake and utilization processes to disrupt its iron homeostasis, induce bacterial death, and meanwhile preserve the balance of the intestinal flora.
