Interpretational factors in conditional reasoning [PDF]

open access: yesMemory & Cognition, 1994
Two experiments examined the role of necessity and sufficiency relationships in conditional reasoning. The results indicated that perceived necessity and sufficiency predicted variability in reasoning performance for four pragmatic relations (permission, obligation, causation, and definition), for both determinant and indeterminant syntactic forms, and

Elemental composition of Talang Queenfish (Scomberoides commersonnianus Lacépède, 1801) in relation to body size and condition factor from Pakistan

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Biology, 2022
Fish is thought to be the most appropriate for indication of toxicity in water. So, purpose of present study was to determine the concentrations of few metals (Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cd, Pb and Zn) in relation to the body size and condition factor in ...

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Neighborhood Conditions and $k$-Factors

open access: yesTokyo Journal of Mathematics, 1997
A \(k\)-factor of a graph \(G\) is a spanning subgraph which is regular of degree \(k\). The authors give conditions involving a lower bound on the order \(n\) of \(G\), the parity of \(kn\), the minmum degree of \(G\), and the cardinalities of the unions of neighborhoods of non-adjacent vertices which guarantee that \(G\) has a \(k\)-factor.
