Accommodating the Analysis Model in Multiple Imputation for the Weibull Mixture Cure Model: Performance Under Penalized Likelihood. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Introduction In analysis of time‐to‐event outcomes, a mixture cure (MC) model is preferred over a standard survival model when the sample includes individuals who will never experience the event of interest. Motivated by a cohort study of breast cancer patients with incomplete biomarkers, we develop multiple imputation (MI) methods assuming a ...

Probabilities of conditionals and previsions of iterated conditionals [PDF]
We analyze selected iterated conditionals in the framework of conditional random quantities. We point out that it is instructive to examine Lewis's triviality result, which shows the conditions a conditional must satisfy for its probability to be the conditional probability.

Weak Consistency for Imprecise Conditional Previsions [PDF]
In this paper we explore relaxations of (Williams) coherent and convex conditional previsions that form the families of n-coherent and n-convex conditional previsions, at the varying of n. We investigate which such previsions are the most general one may reasonably consider, suggesting (centered) 2-convex or, if positive homogeneity and conjugacy is ...

Coherent Upper Conditional Previsions Defined through Conditional Aggregation Operators
Conditional aggregation operators are introduced, and coherent upper conditional previsions are constructed by sub-additive, positively homogenous, and shift-invariant conditional aggregation operators. Composed operators defined by positively homogenous conditional aggregation operators are proven to be conditional aggregation operators and they are ...

ABSTRACT We study how analysts' inherited cultural attitudes to time orientation affect their production of long‐term information and the profitability of their stock recommendations. We find that analysts from long‐term‐oriented cultures exhibit a longer forecast horizon and issue more long‐term forecasts.
