The conductance of suspensions with conducting particles [PDF]
The conductance of conductive ceramics, graphite and metal suspensions in aq. KOH solns. was measured with the impedance technique using a 4-electrode cell. The measurements were carried out for vol. fractions up to high viscosities with particles of different sizes.

New Equation for Optimal Insulation Dependency on the Climate for Office Buildings
The comparison of building energy efficiency in different climates is a growing issue. Unique structural solutions will not ensure the same energy use, but the differences also remain if cost-optimal solutions are applied.

Quantized Majorana conductance [PDF]
Majorana zero-modes—a type of localized quasiparticle—hold great promise for topological quantum computing. Tunnelling spectroscopy in electrical transport is the primary tool for identifying the presence of Majorana zero-modes, for instance as a zero ...

Stomatal Responses to Light, CO2, and Mesophyll Tissue in Vicia faba and Kalanchoë fedtschenkoi
The responses of stomatal aperture to light intensity and CO2 concentration were studied in both Vicia faba (C3) and Kalanchoë fedtschenkoi (Crassulacean acid metabolism; CAM), in material sampled from both light and dark periods.

Conduct disorder (CD) is a common and highly impairing psychiatric disorder that usually emerges in childhood or adolescence and is characterized by severe antisocial and aggressive behaviour. It frequently co-occurs with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and often leads to antisocial personality disorder in adulthood.

Detecting the Structural Hole for Social Communities Based on Conductance–Degree
It has been shown that identifying the structural holes in social networks may help people analyze complex networks, which is crucial in community detection, diffusion control, viral marketing, and academic activities.

Observation of half-integer thermal Hall conductance [PDF]
Topological states of matter are characterized by topological invariants, which are physical quantities whose values are quantized and do not depend on the details of the system (such as its shape, size and impurities).
