Missing Data in Confirmatory Clinical Trials
Journal of Biopharmaceutical Statistics, 2009Missing data for key efficacy and safety endpoints in clinical trials have the potential to undermine the scientific integrity of the study and prevent definitive conclusions regarding the safety and efficacy of an experimental product. Much of the missing data is the result of poor protocol design and a lack of agreement in the scientific community ...

Anthropometric data reduction using confirmatory factor analysis
WORK: A Journal of Prevention, Assessment & Rehabilitation, 2014OBJECTIVE: The unavailability of anthropometric data especially in developing countries has remained a limiting factor towards the design of learning facilities with sufficient ergonomic consideration. Attempts to use anthropometric data from developed countries have led to provision of school facilities unfit for the users.

Confirmatory factor analyses of the WAIS–III standardization data.
Psychological Assessment, 2000Confirmatory factor analyses with the standardization data of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Third Edition (Wechsler, 1997a) compared 6 models with 1 to 4 factors for 11- and 13-subtest versions of the test. Three factors usually fit the data better than 2 factors, but 2-factor models were more parsimonious.

Data from SEM 1: Confirmatory Factor Analysis (2020)
2020This repository contains data collected and analyzed during the Structural Equation Modeling 1: Confirmatory Factor Analysis 2020 course of the University of Amsterdam: Research Master Psychology. The entire course is online at http://sachaepskamp.com/SEM2020. Data was collected between April 9 and April 16, during the peak COVID-19 outbreak.

Bayesian confirmatory analysis of multiple response data
Applied Marketing Analytics: The Peer-Reviewed Journal, 2017This paper proposes a Bayesian confirmatory factor-analytic probit model to reveal the latent utility structure of multiple response data commonly found in marketing surveys. It conditions model formulation on previous knowledge and imposes a parsimonious hierarchical structure involving a measurement model (to define common factors) and a structural ...

Controlling Correlational Bias via Confirmatory Factor Analysis of MTMM Data
Multivariate Behavioral Research, 1991Confirmatory factor analysis of multitrait-multimethod (MTMM) data has proven to be a useful tool for assessing convergent and discriminant validity. However, researchers have not made full use of the results of MTMM analyses in examining the relationship between MTMM factors and variables outside the MTMM. Often, researchers simply average the various

Confirmatory mass‐spectral data for cyclic fatty acid monomers
Journal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, 1996AbstractCyclic fatty acid monomers (CFAM) are degradation products found in heat‐abused edible oils. This study confirms previously published data and reports the structural elucidation of hydrogenated and deuterated monocyclic and bicyclic CFAM prepared from the corresponding unsaturated species that were previously isolated from heated flaxseed ...

Descriptive Data Analysis: A Concept between Confirmatory and Exploratory Data Analysis
Methods of Information in Medicine, 1987SummaryConfirmatory Data Analysis (CDA) in randomized comparative (“controlled”) studies with many variables and/or time points of interest finds its limitations in the multiplicity of desired inferential statements which leads to unfeasibly small adjusted significance levels (“Bon-ferronization”) and, thereby, to unduly increased risks of not ...

Combinatorial data analysis: Confirmatory comparisons between sets of matrices
Applied Stochastic Models and Data Analysis, 1989AbstractThe task of assessing the similarity of pattern between the entries of two square matrices has been discussed extensively over the last decade, as a unifying strategy for approaching a variety of seemingly disparate statistical problems. As typically defined, the comparison depends on a measure of matrix correspondence, usually a normalized ...
