Solution of the two identical ion Penning trap final state [PDF]
We have derived a closed form analytic expression for the asymptotic motion of a pair of identical ions in a high precision Penning trap. The analytic solution includes the effects of special relativity and the Coulomb interaction between the ions.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Lateral asymmetry in the hippocampal response to the remoteness of autobiographical memories [PDF]
The time scale of hippocampal involvement in retrieving memories, particularly those more remote, is still a matter of debate. Some propose that the hippocampus is not involved in the retrieval of remote memories, whereas others assert that it is ...

Confluence of hypergeometric functions and integrable hydrodynamic type systems
It is known that a large class of integrable hydrodynamic type systems can be constructed through the Lauricella function, a generalization of the classical Gauss hypergeometric function. In this paper, we construct novel class of integrable hydrodynamic

Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

From a wide variety of maps and iconographic sources, spatially corrected and georeferenced, this work seeks to precisely reconstruct the hydro-morphological changes at the confluence of two main Alpine rivers: Drac and Isère.

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

The word ‘confluence’ refers both to the place where two or more rivers meet and the fact that they start to flow together. This term is particularly apt to capture some of the paradoxes that characterize the three following chapters of Pilgrimage ...
