Frequency of bile duct confluence variations in subjects with pancreas divisum: an analysis of MRCP findings [PDF]
PURPOSE:We aimed to evaluate the frequency of bile duct branching pattern variations at the hepatic confluence in patients with pancreas divisum (PD).METHODS:A search was performed through the hospital database using the keyword “pancreas divisum” to ...

Hydrodynamic Response of Channel Flow Confluence to the Tributary Floodplain Topography
River confluences with a compound‐channel tributary are common in large river networks, for example, the Yangtze River basin and the Amazon basin. They affect the confluence hydrodynamics, nutrient depletion and fish migration in the network, due to the ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...
