Nanothermometry in Living Cells: Physical Limits, Conceptual and Material Challenges
Heat and temperature are fundamental to life. When nanothermometers began probing regions as small as a living cell, they triggered controversial claims of large intracellular temperature gradients. We review physical constraints energy‐conservation, entropy production, thermodynamic fluctuations, and molecular dynamics.

Conformal differential operator in embedding space and its applications
We develop techniques useful for obtaining conformal blocks in embedding space. We construct a unique differential operator in embedding space and use it to construct a function that will be an important ingredient in assembling conformal blocks. We show

Dispersion relation for CFT four-point functions
We present a dispersion relation in conformal field theory which expresses the four point function as an integral over its single discontinuity. Exploiting the analytic properties of the OPE and crossing symmetry of the correlator, we show that in ...

Modular differential equations with movable poles and admissible RCFT characters
Studies of modular linear differential equations (MLDE) for the classification of rational CFT characters have been limited to the case where the coefficient functions (in monic form) have no poles, or poles at special points of moduli space.

Higher Spin Entanglement Entropy
In this paper, we develop a perturbation formulation to calculate the single interval higher spin R$\acute{e}$nyi and entanglement entropy for two dimensional conformal field theory with $\mathcal{W}_{\infty}(\lambda)$ symmetry.

W-Symmetries of Ito stochastic differential equations [PDF]
We discuss W-symmetries of Ito stochastic differential equations, introduced in a recent paper by Gaeta and Spadaro [J. Math. Phys. 2017]. In particular, we discuss the general form of acceptable generators for continuous (Lie-point) W-symmetry, arguing ...

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Null vectors, 3-point and 4-point functions in conformal field theory
We consider 3-point and 4-point correlation functions in a conformal field theory with a W-algebra symmetry. Whereas in a theory with only Virasoro symmetry the three point functions of descendants fields are uniquely determined by the three point ...

The carbon cloth electrode with targeted pyridinic nitrogen doping, achieved via urea pyrolysis, effectively modulates the adsorption of Cr(II) species and enhances electron transfer, leading to significantly improved kinetics of the Cr(II)/Cr(III) reaction. The material demonstrates a high discharge capacity of 689.3 mAh and an energy efficiency of 72.

A new handle on three-point coefficients: OPE asymptotics from genus two modular invariance
We derive an asymptotic formula for operator product expansion coefficients of heavy operators in two dimensional conformal field theory. This follows from modular invariance of the genus two partition function, and generalises the asymptotic formula for
