Elucidating the Impact of Functional Additives on the Structure and Ion Dynamics of Hybrid Solid Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Using multinuclear and multiscale solid‐state NMR, the bulk and interfacial structures of a LiI‐integrated PEO‐LiTFSI‐Li6PS5Cl hybrid solid electrolytes are elucidated, revealing LiI's dual role in enhancing bulk Li‐ion mobility and facilitating Li‐ion diffusion across the organic/inorganic interfaces.

Structural Battery Electrolytes Based on a Cross‐Linked Methacrylate Polymer and a Protic Ionic Liquid: Is There an Optimal Composition?

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Structural batteries emerge as sustainable devices by integrating energy storage into load‐bearing components, thus reducing mass and enhancing fuel efficiency. However, their performance is challenged by the compromise between mechanical strength and ionic conductivity.

Circularly Polarized Luminescence Inversion in AIE‐Active Crystal Enabled by Solvent‐Induced Transition Dipole Moment Regulation

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
Crystals of chiral AIEgens exhibit achiral solvent‐induced CPL sign inversion with good optical waveguide properties, while the same helical structure and molecular chirality are retained in the crystalline state. Nonbonding interactions between the cocrystallized solvent molecules and AIEgens affect the θμ,m (S1 → S0) of electric and magnetic ...

Achieving Multi‐Color Emissive Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes With Single‐Component Molecule Through Conformational Regulation

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
Through the intramolecular hydrogen bonds established by the pyridine ring, we constructed an efficient single‐component multi‐color emitter Bppy‐PTZ. With a stable quasi‐axial conformation in both crystalline and amorphous states, Bppy‐PTZ enabled its organic light‐emitting diodes with color‐tunable emissions, including blue, yellow, and adjustable ...
