Essential points of conformal vector fields
For a conformal vector field $ $ on a Riemannian manifold, we say that a point is essential if there is no local metric in the conformal class for which $ $ is Killing. We show that the only essential points are isolated zeros of $ $. As an application, we show that every connected component of the zero set of $ $ is totally umbilical.

We present ultrathin flexible transparent electrodes through iCVD‐enabled molecular control of 10 nm gold films on poly(dimethylaminomethylstyrene). In vivo validation demonstrated photoelectric artifact reduction vs. opaque electrodes and preservation of natural neural dynamics.

Conformal vector fields on Finsler manifolds
Applying concepts and tools from classical tangent bundle geometry and using the apparatus of the calculus along the tangent bundle projection ('pull-back formalism'), first we enrich the known lists of the characterizations of affine vector fields on a spray manifold and conformal vector fields on a Finsler manifold.
