Memory and Resting‐State Connectivity in Acute Transient Global Amnesia: A Case–Control fMRI Study
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Transient global amnesia (TGA) is a striking model of isolated amnesia. While hippocampal lesions are well described, the network‐level mechanisms and the precise neuropsychological profile remain debated. Our objective was thus to characterize functional and neuropsychological correlates of acute TGA and their ...

Congested observational learning [PDF]
We study observational learning in environments with congestion costs: as more of one's predecessors choose an action, the payoff from choosing that action decreases. Herds cannot occur if congestion on an action can get so large that an agent would prefer to take a different action no matter his beliefs about the state.

The Proximity Congested Set and not Congested Set
Abstract this paper includes a study related to the concept of proximity congested sets and proximity not congested sets in i-topological proximity spaces which were defined using two concepts are the i-closure concept and nested set and then utilized it in studying a new type of concept namely cpc-congested set, cp-congested set, pc ...

Onasemnogene Abeparvovec in Patients With SMA: Interim Results of the RESTORE Registry in Japan
ABSTRACT Objective There are limited real‐world data regarding the safety and effectiveness of onasemnogene abeparvovec (OA; Zolgensma) infusion, a one‐time gene replacement therapy, for Japanese patients with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). We aimed to improve understanding of the real‐world outcomes for OA in Japan.

Liquidity and Congestion [PDF]
Abstract This paper studies the relationship between the endogenous arrival of investors to a market and liquidity in a search-based model of asset trading. Entry of investors causes two contradictory effects. First, it reduces trading costs, which attracts new investors (externality effect).

Objective We investigated whether a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects the quality of inpatient acute myocardial infarction (AMI) care and long‐term mortality post‐AMI. Methods We analyzed data from 784,091 adults, 6,047 with a diagnosis of RA, from England and Wales hospitalized with AMI between 2005 and 2019 from the Myocardial Ischaemia ...

Congestion on Multilane Highways [PDF]
Summary: We present a new model for traffic on a multilane freeway (with \(n\) lanes). Our basic descriptors are the car density \(\rho\) (in cars/mile), taken across all lanes in the freeway, and the average car velocity \(u\) (in miles/hour). The flux of cars across all lanes is given by \(\rho u = {\sum^n_{i=1}}\rho_i u_i\), where \(\rho_i\) is the ...

Neighborhood Socioeconomic Status and Short‐Term Functional Outcomes in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Objective Individuals with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) can accumulate functional status (FS) impairment. We evaluated the association between neighborhood socioeconomic disadvantage, as measured by the Area Deprivation Index (ADI), and FS in a national SLE sample.
