Soluble CD146 in Heart Failure: Pathophysiological Role and Diagnostic Potential
Heart failure (HF) remains a major global health challenge, driven by multifactorial pathophysiological processes, such as systemic congestion, endothelial dysfunction, and inflammation.

An Efficient Staged Evacuation Planning Algorithm Applied to Multi-Exit Buildings
When the occupant density of buildings is large enough, evacuees are prone to congestion during emergency evacuation, which leads to the extension of the overall escape time.

Congestion: Relation between traditional DEA congestion and two-stage processes congestion
Congestion is a kind of inefficiency because it causes the decision-making units (DMUs) to be inefficient and reduces their output. Identifying inefficient DMUs and determining the cause of their inefficiencies has been one of the most important reasons for referring to the internal structure of DMUs and analyzing the effect of intermediate products on

After liver transplantation, ischemia‐reperfusion injury is more severe in pericentral regions. Multiomic analyses of human grafts and mouse models identify FOXO1 activation in pericentral hepatocytes as an upstream driver of SAA secretion. SAA recruits and activates FPR2+ macrophages, amplifying local inflammation. Amilo‐5MER inhibits SAA bioactivity,

Sepsis‐associated encephalopathy (SAE) lacks effective therapies. We developed ME@FDsi, a biomimetic nanodrug using a tetrahedral framework nucleic acid to deliver disulfiram and siTNFα. It crosses the blood‐brain barrier, targets M1 microglia, inhibits pyroptosis and inflammation, and scavenges ROS.

Fabrication of High‐Density Multimodal Neural Probes Based on Heterogeneously Integrated CMOS
A chiplet‐based methodology democratizes active neural probe development on standard bulk CMOS services. This yields the first probe combining high‐density electrophysiology (416 electrodes) with calcium imaging (832 photodiodes) and complete on‐chip signal processing across 13 shanks.

Revenue Recycling and the Welfare Effects of Road Pricing [PDF]
This paper explores the interactions between taxes on work-related traffic congestion and pre-existing distortionary taxes in the labor market. A congestion tax raises the overall costs of commuting to work and discourages labor force participation at ...

This study presents a perfusable 3D bioengineered liver sinusoid platform that integrates biofabrication, 3D cell culture, controlled hemodynamics, and multiparametric characterization to model Fontan‐associated liver disease. By decoupling pressure and hypoxia effects, the system reveals early mechanobiological and profibrotic responses under ...
