Combined Model for Congestion Control
The growth of multimedia applications on the Internet made at least one fifth of the total network traffic to run over UDP. Unlike TCP, UDP is unresponsive to network congestion. This may cause, interalia, bandwidth starvation of responsive flows, severe and prolonged congestions or in the worst-case scenario a congestion collapse.

Bona Fide Intersegmental Plane Hepatectomy Along the Glissonean Branches (BIPHG)
ABSTRACT This review traces the author's personal journey over three decades in the evolution of liver resection techniques, culminating in the proposal of the Bona Fide Intersegmental Plane Hepatectomy Along Glissonean Branches (BIPHG). Beginning with pioneering experiences in laparoscopic and robotic liver surgeries, the author highlights key ...

Congestion Control Using Multilevel Explicit Congestion Notification
†4 Congestion remains one of the main obstacles to the Quality of Service (QoS) on the Internet. We think that a good solution to Internet congestion should optimally combine congestion signaling from network and source reaction, with the following as its main goals: minimum losses and delays, maximum network utilization, fairness among flows, and last

Unlike deceased‐donor liver transplantation, living‐donor liver transplantation (LDLT) for Budd‐Chiari Syndrome (BCS) presents distinctive challenges in hepatic venous (HV)‐outflow reconstruction because diseased HV–inferior vena cava (IVC) cannot be entirely replaced with healthy donor vessels.

Feedback-Based Control Loop Congestion Control Algorithm for Wireless Networks
Wi-Fi plays a crucial role in connecting private professional networks by providing varying data rates based on channel quality. Despite advancements in Wi-Fi protocols, there is still a problem of throughput degradation for higher data rate devices when

Feeding enterostomy during MIE was evaluated in 19 054 patients from the Japanese NCD using propensity weighting. Enterostomy was associated with higher reoperation and respiratory complications, but lower delayed gastric emptying and deep vein thrombosis, with no significant difference in overall bowel obstruction.
