ABSTRACT Perforation developing during endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for colorectal lesions can necessitate halting of the procedure and performing emergency surgery. In some cases, conservative treatment of the perforation is possible using endoscopic clips or over‐the‐scope‐clips (OTSCs).
