Incidence, Risk Factors, and Temporal Trends of Tongue Cancer: A Population‐Based Study

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Tongue cancer is the most prevalent form of cancer in the intraoral region across many countries. This study aims to explore the global burden of the disease, its associated risk factors, and trends in incidence over time across different demographic groups.

Primary (AL) Amyloidosis Following COVID‐19 Infection: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Primary (AL) amyloidosis is a rare systemic disorder caused by extracellular deposition of monoclonal immunoglobulin light chains, resulting in multi‐organ dysfunction. SARS‐CoV‐2 infection may induce persistent inflammatory and immune dysregulation, potentially promoting amyloid formation, although clinical evidence is limited, making the ...

Symptomatic Vulvar Primary Cutaneous Amyloidosis Associated With Low–Risk HPV: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Primary localized cutaneous amyloidosis (PCLA) of the vulva is an infrequent diagnosis. Its clinical presentation may mimic neoplastic or inflammatory lesions and could even be associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) of low or high oncogenic risk, making accurate diagnosis and exclusion of systemic involvement essential. A 73‐year‐old woman

Leukocyte Chemotactic Factor 2 Amyloidosis (LECT‐2) Amyloidosis Case Report and Review of the Current Literature

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Amyloid deposition is an increasingly recognized contributor to chronic kidney disease and end‐stage renal disease. It can result from various underlying conditions, including monoclonal gammopathies and chronic inflammatory states. Diagnosis is typically established by kidney biopsy demonstrating characteristic amyloid deposits.

Photocatalytic Degradation of PFOA with Porous Lanthanoid Perovskites Nano Catalyst

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, Volume 98, Issue 1-2, Page 7-17, February 2026.
Photocatalytic degradation of PFOA was studied using nickel‐ and lanthanide‐doped perovskites under UV–VIS irradiation. Catalyst characterization confirmed successful doping, with Ni/NdMnO3 showing the highest photocatalytic efficiency. Degradation occurred via C–C bond cleavage, forming transformation products PFHpA and PFHxA.
