Malectin alleviates high glucose‐induced ER stress and damage in placental trophoblasts, a function dependent on its six critical carbohydrate‐binding residues. In a GDM mouse model, administration of TAT‐Malectin ameliorated hyperglycemia and placental ER stress and prevented fetal macrosomia.

Effect of Congruence Between Sound and Video on Heart Rate and Self-Reported Measures of Emotion
Most studies of emotional responses have used unimodal stimuli (e.g., pictures or sounds) or congruent bimodal stimuli (e.g., video clips with sound), but little is known about the emotional response to incongruent bimodal stimuli. The aim of the present

Prior Expectations Bias Confidence Judgments Through Parietal Alpha‐Band Modulation
ABSTRACT Humans possess the metacognitive ability to estimate the likely accuracy of their own decisions through confidence judgments. Yet, whether prior information shapes confidence and the neural mechanisms mediating such influence, remain to be determined.
