Modeling of occurrence frequencies of ion conics as a function of altitude and conic angle [PDF]
The occurrence frequencies of dayside ion conics with various conic angles are obtained as a function of altitude from Exos-D (Akebono) observations. We made a model calculation of ion conic evolution to match the observation results.

Worst case bounds on facial reduction for conic programming [PDF]
Conic linear programming is a powerful modelling technique with many applications in engineering, planning, statistics and many others. Typically, a conic linear program (CLP) is expressed as the task of minimizing some linear function subject to linear ...

On Multi-conditioned Conic Fitting in Geometric Algebra for Conics
We introduce several modifications of conic fitting in Geometric algebra for conics by incorporating additional conditions into the optimisation problem. Each of these extra conditions ensure additional geometric properties of a fitted conic, in particular, centre point position at the origin of coordinate system, axial alignment with coordinate axes ...

CONSTRUCTING DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS IN CONIC [PDF]
The Conic environment provides a language-based approach to the building of distributed systems which combines the simplicity and safety of a language approach with the flexibility and accessibility of an operating systems approach.

ASPECTS AND GEOMETRIC INTERPRETATION IN SOLVING CONICAL SECTIONS
In mathematics, a conic is the curve that is obtained by intersecting a plane with a cone. Is well known that the shape of this curve may differ quite a bit depending on the position of the intersection plane relative to the cone axis, as it is actually ...

Textbooks may say that the so-called conic sections can be obtained from cones, but this is rarely proved. However, diagrams of the proof require no intuition for solids and can be read as flat. We construct the diagrams with ruler and compass and derive

Fuzzy filtering‐based fault detection for a class of discrete‐time conic‐type nonlinear systems
The authors investigates the problem of fuzzy fault detection filter (FFDF) design for a class of discrete‐time conic‐type nonlinear systems. By applying Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy models, the conic‐type dynamic FFDF system is established.

Conic Optimal Energy Flow of Integrated Electricity and Natural Gas Systems
In this letter, we propose a market-based bi-level conic optimal energy flow (OEF) model of integrated electricity and natural gas systems (IENGSs). Conic alternating current optimal power flow (ACOPF) is formulated in the upper-level model, and the ...
