Conjugate Maps and Conjugate Duality

1985
This paper considers conjugate duality in multiobjective optimization, in which minimality (efficiency, noninferiority, or Pareto optimality) is a natural solution concept. First, conjugate maps and subgradients are defined for vector-valued functions and point-to-set maps.

Amphiphilic Peptide–Polymer Conjugates with Side‐Conjugation

Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2011
AbstractPolymers conjugated to the exterior of a protein mediate its interactions with surroundings, enhance its processability and can be used to direct its macroscopic assemblies. Most studies to date have focused on peptide–polymer conjugates based on hydrophilic polymers.

Conjugation of Haptens

2008
Many naturally occurring proteins, peptides, carbohydrates, nucleic acids, and lipids, as well as synthetic peptides, are successful immunogens. To elicit an immune response, a compound must contain an antigenic determinant or epitope and must be of sufficient size to initiate lymphocyte activation necessary for an antibody response. In practice, small

Recent Advances in Asymmetric Organocatalytic 1,4‐Conjugate Additions

, 2007
Recent progress in the field of asymmetric organocatalytic 1,4-conjugate addition reactions, regarded as belonging among the more synthetically important carbon–carbon bond-forming reactions, is described.

Which pneumococcal serogroups cause the most invasive disease: implications for conjugate vaccine formulation and use, part I.

Clinical Infectious Diseases, 2000
We analyzed >70 recent data sets to compare the serogroups causing invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD) with those represented in conjugate vaccine formulations.

The diagonal conjugate

American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1951
Abstract The diagonal conjugate has been analyzed from the following viewpoints: (1) evaluation of Smellie's rule; (2) the relationship of the clinical C.D. to the x-ray C.D.; (3) the accuracy of the clinical C.D.; (4) the relationship of the clinical C.D.

Cysteine S-conjugates

1987
Publisher Summary This chapter describes the general methods are described for cysteine S-conjugates synthesis and purification with special emphasis on radiolabeled compounds. Synthesis using methanol and sodium methoxide as base is a procedure, adapted from a method for the synthesis of mercapturic acids, can be used for the synthesis of most ...

tRNA conjugation with folic acid-chitosan conjugates

International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, 2017
The conjugation of tRNA with folic acid-chitosan conjugates was studied, using multiple spectroscopic methods and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Thermodynamic analysis ΔH -14 to -10 (KJMol-1) and ΔS 14 to -1 (JMol-1, K-1) showed tRNA-folic acid-chitosan bindings occur via H-bonding, hydrophobic and van der Waals contacts.

On Conjugate Functions

Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1963
In a previous paper (3) generalizations of M. Riesz's theorem by the method of asymptotic approximation have been given. The present paper is concerned with further generalizations for even and odd functions. In Section 3, we consider a generalization of a theorem due to Zygmund: If (10, p. 254).
