Synthetic Metals, 1993
Abstract Novel conjugated polymers with unconventional π-topologies are synthesized. Defect-free, soluble structures are obtained, which allow for a fine-tuning of physical properties. Particularly important for the creation of low band gaps is the transition from one-dimensional to two-dimensional π-conjugation.

Conformation Control of Conjugated Polymers
Chemistry – A European Journal, 2020AbstractIn the past few decades, conjugated polymers have aroused extensive interest in organic electronic applications. The electrical performance of conjugated polymers has a close relationship with their backbone conformation. The conformation of the polymer backbone strongly affects the πelectron delocalization along polymer chains, the energy band

Introduction To Conjugated Polymers
2005Abstract Research into the electronic, optical, and magnetic properties of conjugated polymers began in the 1970s after a number of seminal experimental achievements. First, the synthesis of polyacetylene thin films (Itoˆet al.1974) and the subsequent success in doping these polymers to create conducting polymers (Chiang et al.1977 ...

Polymer Conjugates for Imaging
2005The capabilities of modern medical imaging techniques can be greatly enhanced by the use of injectable imaging pharmaceuticals. These take a number of forms, from passive vascular contrast agents to highly specific agents targeted to specific receptors.

Amphiphilic Peptide–Polymer Conjugates with Side‐Conjugation
Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2011AbstractPolymers conjugated to the exterior of a protein mediate its interactions with surroundings, enhance its processability and can be used to direct its macroscopic assemblies. Most studies to date have focused on peptide–polymer conjugates based on hydrophilic polymers.

Phosphorescence Quenching by Conjugated Polymers
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2003Energy transfer between phosphors and conjugated polymers was investigated using a fluorene trimer (F3) as a model conjugated material. The phosphors studied were bis-cyclometalated iridium complexes (FP, PPY, BT, PQ, and BTP), with triplet energies of 2.6, 2.4, 2.2, 2.1, and 2.0 eV, respectively (based on phosphorescence spectra).

Clinical Pharmacokinetics, 1994
Soluble polymer conjugates have only recently been introduced into clinical practice. They can be subdivided into 2 main categories: polymer-protein conjugates, so far the most widely studied; and polymer-drug conjugates, particularly those containing conventional antitumour agents, that are still at an early stage of development.
