[Drug therapy for corneo-conjunctival neoplasm].

The goal of therapy for corneo-conjunctival neoplasm is lesion removal, with the most widespread procedure being complete tumor resection with or without associated chemotherapy lines. As this sort of procedure entails a high relapse rate (9-52%) the use of adjuvant therapies to reduce the occurence of relapse becomes a need.

What's new? Cavity carcinomatosis, a late manifestation of cancer, fuels tumor formation throughout a large area, most commonly the peritoneal and pleural cavities. The condition also can lead to resistance to otherwise effective treatment strategies.

Neurological symptoms and natural course of xeroderma pigmentosum [PDF]

We have prospectively followed 16 Finnish xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) patients for up to 23 years. Seven patients were assigned by complementation analysis to the group XP-A, two patients to the XP-C group and one patient to the XP-G group.

Neurological Disorders in Dogs: A Retrospective Analysis of Prevalence, Aetiology, Lesion Locations, and Regional Variations in Northeastern Iran

This retrospective study evaluated 422 dogs with neurological disorders among 9131 canine referrals over 8.5 years in northeastern Iran. Infectious diseases, particularly canine distemper (33.2%), were the leading cause, followed by trauma and idiopathic conditions. The prosencephalon was the most frequently affected anatomical region.
