EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Hn-Domination in Graphs

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2019
The aim of this article is to introduce a new definition of domination number in graphs called hn-domination number denoted by . This paper presents some properties which show the concepts of connected and independent hn-domination.

On Domination in 2-Connected Cubic Graphs [PDF]

open access: yesThe Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, 2008
In 1996, Reed proved that the domination number, $\gamma(G)$, of every $n$-vertex graph $G$ with minimum degree at least $3$ is at most $3n/8$ and conjectured that $\gamma(H)\leq\lceil n/3\rceil$ for every connected $3$-regular (cubic) $n$-vertex graph $H$.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Valency based domination number for Mycielskian of some graphs‎ [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics and Computational Sciences
Let G = (V, E) be a connected graph and γvb(G) denotes the valency based domination number of G or simply vb-domination number of G. In this paper, analogous to isolated vertex in domination, defined valency based isolated vertex (or simply, vb-isolated ...

Some inequalities about connected domination number

open access: yes, 1996
Let G = (V,E) be a graph. In this note, γc, ir, γ, i, β0, Γ, IR denote the connected domination number, the irredundance number, the domination number, the independent domination number, the independence number, the upper domination number and the upper ...

Weakly Connected Domination in Graphs

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics, 2009
Abstract In the last 50 years, Graph theory has seen an explosive growth due to interaction with areas like computer science, electrical and communication engineering, Operations Research etc. Perhaps the fastest growing area within graph theory is the study of domination, the reason being its many and varied applications in such fields as social ...

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Matching properties in connected domination critical graphs

open access: yes, 2008
A dominating set of vertices S of a graph G is connected if the subgraph G[S] is connected. Let γc(G) denote the size of any smallest connected dominating set in G.
