Recognizing and Mitigating Canine Stress in Human–Canine Interaction Research: Proposed Guidelines

open access: yesAnimals
The research into human–canine interactions (HCIs) has grown substantially, yet limited attention has focused on the welfare of canines involved, particularly pet dogs owned by volunteer participants.

Targeting p38α in cancer: challenges, opportunities, and emerging strategies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
p38α normally regulates cellular stress responses and homeostasis and suppresses malignant transformation. In cancer, however, p38α is co‐opted to drive context‐dependent proliferation and dissemination. p38α also supports key functions in cells of the tumor microenvironment, including fibroblasts, myeloid cells, and T lymphocytes.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Modeling and optimization control of SOEC with flexible adjustment capabilities

open access: yesScientific Reports
Due to the random fluctuations in power experienced by high-temperature green electric hydrogen production systems, further deterioration of spatial distribution characteristics such as temperature, voltage/current, and material concentration inside the ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Analysis of bidding strategies and design of value distribution mechanism for multi-type sources in power transaction

open access: yesEnergy Conversion and Management: X
This paper proposes a novel operational model enabling multi-type energy sources to participate in electricity markets, alongside a value distribution mechanism for flexible resources based on the Vickrey-Clarke-Groves (VCG) theory.
