Chinese expert consensus on diagnosis and management of split cord malformation

open access: yesJournal of Neurorestoratology, 2020
Split cord malformation (SCM) is a neural tube defect that the spinal cord is longitudinally separated into two hemicords with individual functions, which causes severe spinal cord impairment and sensorimotor deficit.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Evaluation of Habitat Suitability and Assessment of the Invasion Risk of Water Hyacinth [Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms] in Global Freshwater Ecosystems

open access: yesPlants
Aquatic ecosystems worldwide are increasingly threatened by invasive species, with water hyacinth [Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms] being among the most destructive aquatic weeds.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Global assessment of invasion risk: Ardisia elliptica, one of the most noxious tropical shrubs in the world

open access: yesEcological Processes
Background Global risk assessment of invasive weeds is a proactive strategy for identifying high-risk species and regions, predicting invasion rates and extents, and evaluating harmful impacts on native biodiversity, agriculture, and ecosystems.

FGFR Like1 drives esophageal cancer progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and notch signalling: insights from clinical data and next‐generation sequencing analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Clinical analysis reveals significant dysregulation of FGFRL1 in esophageal cancer (EC) patients. RNAi‐coupled next‐generation sequencing (NGS) and in vitro study reveal FGFRL1‐mediated EC progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and Notch pathways. Functional assays confirm its role in tumor growth, migration, and invasion.

The solvability of consensus in iterated models extended with safe-consensus

open access: yes, 2015
The safe-consensus task was introduced by Afek, Gafni and Lieber (DISC'09) as a weakening of the classic consensus. When there is concurrency, the consensus output can be arbitrary, not even the input of any process.
