We consider a nonlinear Neumann eigenvalue problem driven by a possibly nonhomogeneous differential operator which incorporates as a special case the p-Laplacian. Constant-Sign and Nodal Solutions to a Dirichlet Problem with p-Laplacian and Nonlinearity Depending on a Parameter

AbstractA homogeneous Dirichlet problem with p-Laplacian and reaction term depending on a parameter λ > 0 is investigated. At least five solutions—two negative, two positive and one sign-changing (namely, nodal)—are obtained for all λ sufficiently small by chiefly assuming that the involved non-linearity exhibits a concave-convex growth rate. Nodal and Multiple Constant Sign Solution for Equations with the p-Laplacian

We consider nonlinear elliptic equations driven by the p-Laplacian with a nonsmooth potential (hemivariational inequalities). We obtain the existence of multiple nontrivial solutions and we determine their sign (one positive, one negative and the third nodal).
