Constitutive equation of butter at static loading

open access: yesActa Universitatis Agriculturae et Silviculturae Mendelianae Brunensis, 2008
This study focuses on the constitutive modelling of finite deformation in the commercially obtained butter (composition is 83 % of milk fat) at the temperature 17–20 °C.

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Constitutive modeling of Ti-2.7Cu alloy based on strain compensation and PSO-BP neural network

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2019
The isothermal compression tests of Ti-2.7Cu alloy were tested to study the hot deformation behavior in temperature range of 740-890℃ and strain rate range of 0.001-10s-1 on a Gleeble-3500 thermomechanical simulator.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Modelling, identification and application of phenomenological constitutive laws over a large strain rate and temperature range [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A review of the different phenomenological thermo-viscoplastic constitutive models often applied to forging and machining processes is presented. Several of the most common models have been identified using a large experimental database (Hor et al., 2013)

Modified constitutive equation by using phase field simulation of dynamic recrystallization in friction stir welding

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2021
The application of appropriate constitutive equation describing the relationship between the flow stress, temperature and strain rate is essential to get deep insight into the process mechanism of friction stir welding (FSW).

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
