Correlation between resilient modulus (M) and constrained modulus (M) values of granular materials

Construction and Building Materials, 2018
Abstract The resilient modulus (MR) value of unbound aggregates has been widely accepted as the principal mechanical property required in the mechanistic-empirical design/analysis of pavement structures. Resilient modulus measured through repeated triaxial load test is highly desirable to characterise granular materials.

Evaluation of modulus-constrained matched illumination waveforms for target identification

2010 IEEE Radar Conference, 2010
In prior work, we have applied matched illumination strategies to target identification by a closed-loop radar system. In the closed-loop system, multiple waveforms are transmitted in succession, but each is customized based on the returns from prior transmissions.

A constrained constant modulus algorithm based on uniform linear arrays

2010 4th International Symposium on Communications, Control and Signal Processing (ISCCSP), 2010
A novel constant modulus algorithm (CMA) is proposed based on a uniformly spaced linear array by constraining its weight vector to a specific conjugate symmetric form. The constraint is derived from the beamformer with an optimum output signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR).

Modulus-based iterative methods for constrained lp-lq minimization

2020
The need to solve discrete ill-posed problems arises in many areas of science and engineering. Solutions of these problems, if they exist, are very sensitive to perturbations in the available data. Regularization replaces the original problem by a nearby regularized problem, whose solution is less sensitive to the error in the data.
