Providing Antenatal Care Facility is the Most Effective Way to Improve Nutritional Knowledge of Mothers Working in the Ready-Made Garment Industry of Bangladesh

open access: yesJournal of Agriculture, Food and Environment, 2022
Mothers perform the social responsibility of providing food and caring the family members throughout the world and the type of food and care they provide depend to a large extent on their knowledge of basic nutrition and health care.

Optimality and Constraint Qualifications in Vector Optimization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We propose a unifying approach in deriving constraint qualifications and theorem of the alternative. We first introduce a separation theorem between a subspace and the non-positive orthant, and then we use it to derive a new constraint qualification for a smooth vector optimization problem with inequality constraints.

A Transformation-based Implementation for CLP with Qualification and Proximity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Uncertainty in logic programming has been widely investigated in the last decades, leading to multiple extensions of the classical LP paradigm. However, few of these are designed as extensions of the well-established and powerful CLP scheme for ...

A Nonconstant Gradient Constrained Problem for Nonlinear Monotone Operators

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
The purpose of the research is the study of a nonconstant gradient constrained problem for nonlinear monotone operators. In particular, we study a stationary variational inequality, defined by a strongly monotone operator, in a convex set of gradient ...

An SDP Approach For Solving Quadratic Fractional Programming Problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This paper considers a fractional programming problem (P) which minimizes a ratio of quadratic functions subject to a two-sided quadratic constraint. As is well-known, the fractional objective function can be replaced by a parametric family of quadratic ...

A Note on the Guignard Constraint Qualification and the Guignard Regularity Condition in Vector Optimization

open access: yes, 2013
Some remarks are made on the use of the Abadie constraint qualification, the Guignard constraint qualifications and the Guignard regularity condition in obtaining weak and strong Kuhn-Tucker type optimality conditions in differentiable vector ...

On the Continuous-Time Complementarity Problem

open access: yesTrends in Computational and Applied Mathematics
This work deals with solving continuous-time nonlinear complementarity problems defined on two types of nonempty closed convex cones: a polyhedral cone (positive octant) and a second-order cone.
