Molecular Theory of Detonation Initiation: Insight from First Principles Modeling of the Decomposition Mechanisms of Organic Nitro Energetic Materials

open access: yesMolecules, 2016
This review presents a concept, which assumes that thermal decomposition processes play a major role in defining the sensitivity of organic energetic materials to detonation initiation.

ON THE CHARACTERIZATION OF SCALING FUNCTIONS ON NON-ARCHEMEDEAN FIELDS

open access: yesUral Mathematical Journal, 2021
In real life application all signals are not obtained from uniform shifts; so there is a natural question regarding analysis and decompositions of these types of signals by a stable mathematical tool.

Long‐Term Elevated CO2 Improves Soil Health and Rice Yields in Paddy Fields

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Combining the two longest‐running rice free‐air CO2 enrichment experiments with a global data synthesis, this study demonstrates that long‐term elevated CO2 consistently enhances soil health. In rice paddies, this improvement sustains the CO2 fertilization effect over decades.

Massive fields in AdS from constructive holography

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Collective field theory offers a constructive framework for exploring the AdS/CFT duality. In this article, we focus on constructing rotations within the light-front quantized collective field theory for the full set of spatial coordinates in the dual ...

Construction and Set Theory

open access: yes, 2019
This paper argues that mathematical objects are constructions and that constructions introduce a flexibility in the ways that mathematical objects are represented (as sets of binary sequences for example) and presented (in a particular order for example).

Cryopreserved Human Otic Neuronal Spheroids Self‐assemble for Functional Connectivity Analysis and Long‐term Ototoxicity Evaluation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes a robust and reproducible protocol for generating human otic neuronal spheroids (hONS) from cryopreserved hPSC‐derived pre‐placodal ectoderm cells. These hONS further differentiate into functional SGN‐like neurons, which extend neurite projections toward both murine hair cells and human cortical organoids, thereby forming ...

Multi-attributive border approximation area comparison model based on Sugeno-Weber power fuzzy linguistic variables with Z-number information

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
The tool of fuzzy Z-number linguistic term (FZNLT) set is significant and dominant because it integrates fuzzy set theory, linguistic set theory, Z-number theory, and uncertainty, allowing for massive accurate, and precise interpretation of incomplete ...

Regulation of Excitonic Behavior in Defective Acetylenic Polymers Enables Mechanism Switching in O2 Activation for Enhanced Water Decontamination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A molecular defect‐mediated charge accumulation strategy is developed to regulate the exciton behavior for selective molecular oxygen (O2)activation in poly(1,3,5‐triethynylbenzene) (PTEB). Artificial internal electric field (IEF) constructed in defective PTEB provides internal driving force to steer the directed migration of charge carriers, thereby ...

Microglial Fkbp5 Impairs Post‐Stroke Vascular Integrity and Regeneration by Promoting Yap1‐Mediated Glycolysis and Oxidative Phosphorylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A post‐stroke perivascular niche of microglia characterized by low expression of M2 markers and elevated glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), and phagocytic activity is identified, which is termed stroke‐activated vascular‐associated microglia (stroke‐VAM).
