Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Best Nonparametric Bounds on Demand Responses [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper uses revealed preference inequalities to provide tight nonparametric bounds on consumer responses to price changes. Price responses are allowed to vary nonparametrically across the income distribution by exploiting micro data on consumer ...

A New Approach to Correct for Hypothetical Bias in Stated Preference Models

open access: yes
Many times economists are asked to estimate the demand for new consumer goods or services for which no market data exists. Typically market researchers and economists answer this challenge using surveys that ask about intended purchases (Louviere, et al.

A Revealed Preference Feasibility Condition for Weak Complementarity [PDF]

open access: yes
It is widely reported in the literature that it is not possible to test nonmarket good preference restrictions against revealed preference. While it is clearly impossible to affirm any particular preference restriction as being “true,” it is possible to ...
