In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Stokes flow in a drop evaporating from a liquid subphase
The evaporation of a drop from a liquid subphase is investigated. The two liquids are immiscible, and the contact angles between them are given by the Neumann construction.

Scale Dependence of Contact Line Computations [PDF]
Summary: The shape and velocity of a sliding droplet are computed by solving the Navier-Stokes equation with free interface boundary conditions. The Galerkin finite element method is implemented in a 2D computation domain discretized using an unstructured mesh with triangular elements.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Simulation Study of Stochastic Wind Field of Catenaries with Spatial Correlativity
According to catenary construction, at unreduced precision, a multivariable simulation model of catenary stochastic pulsation wind field based on the harmonic synthesis was proposed, which properly simplifies wind speed coherence function and power ...

Relaxation of a dewetting contact line Part 1: A full-scale hydrodynamic calculation
The relaxation of a dewetting contact line is investigated theoretically in the so-called "Landau-Levich" geometry in which a vertical solid plate is withdrawn from a bath of partially wetting liquid.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These
