Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

ELECTROMAGNETIC POLARIZED SWITCH WITH BOUNCE-FREE CONTACT SYSTEM

open access: yesНадежность и качество сложных систем
Background. Electromagnetic polarized switches are used in land-based vehicles to commutate the electric circuits in a system. There is a wide variety of industrially available commutating devices, but few of them are applicable for the above purpose due

Contact Melting in Simple Eutectic System

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2011
The growth of the liquid interlayer in the system lead-tin at 463 K is studied experimentally in the nonstationary diffusion process of contact melting. The contact melting was carried out between pure tin and solid solution of tin in lead (0, 5.9, 11.5,

Contamination-free non-contact wettability assessment system

open access: yesROBOMECH Journal, 2017
Surface wettability is one of most important indexes for understanding the interfacial characteristics between a solid surface and a liquid, especially such physico-chemical properties as hydrophilicity and water repellency.

Microglial dynamics and ferroptosis induction in human iPSC‐derived neuron–astrocyte–microglia tri‐cultures

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A tri‐culture of iPSC‐derived neurons, astrocytes, and microglia treated with ferroptosis inducers as an Induced ferroptosis model was characterized by scRNA‐seq, cell survival, and cytokine release assays. This analysis revealed diverse microglial transcriptomic changes, indicating that the system captures key aspects of the complex cellular ...

THE SYSTEM OF CONTACT SYSTEM POWER SUPPLY OF DC NETWORK WITH A LONGITUDINAL LINE OF HIGH VOLTAGE

open access: yesNauka ta progres transportu, 2008
The power supply system of a contact network using a longitudinal line with points of communication without transformer is considered. The approach allowing to facilitate power filters and the way of switching of in-series connected semiconductor ...

BMI‐1 modulation and trafficking during M phase in diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The schematic illustrates BMI‐1 phosphorylation during M phase, which triggers its translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. In cycling cells, BMI‐1 functions within the PRC1 complex to mediate H2A K119 monoubiquitination. Following PTC596‐induced M phase arrest, phosphorylated BMI‐1 dissociates from PRC1 and is exported to the cytoplasm via its

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Applicability of mitotic figure counting by deep learning: a development and pan‐cancer validation study

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

Polarization of contact forces in multi-contact systems

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Computational Mechanics, 2010
The aim of this study is to identify the homogenized laws modeling the overall behaviour of multi-contact systems. At the moment, these systems are generally analyzed either by continuum mechanics or micro-mechanics and a multi-scale approach. These approaches differ from the phenomenological approach traditionally used for modeling the behavior of ...
