The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Evaluation of virtualization and traffic filtering methods for container networks

open access: yesFuture Generation Computer Systems, 2019
Future distributed scientific applications will rely on containerization for data handling and processing. Likewise, emerging digital marketplaces will be built using these technologies. In particular, support for multi-tenancy will be a major requirement.

Analysis of the role of p200-containing vesicles in post-Golgi traffic. [PDF]

open access: yesMolecular Biology of the Cell, 1996
p200 is a cytoplasmic protein that associates with vesicles budding from the trans-golgi network (TGN). The protein was identified by a monoclonal antibody AD7. We have used this antibody to analyze whether p200 functions in exocytic transport from the TGN to the apical or basolateral plasma membrane in Madin-Darby canine kidney cells.

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...
