Two Faces of NOTCH1 in Childhood Lymphoblastic T‐Cell Neoplasia: Prognostic Divergence of Mutational and Structural Aberrations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In pediatric patients, T‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T‐LBL) survival exceeds 80%. Relapse remains associated with limited curative options. Frontline treatment is largely extrapolated from T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) treatment, reflecting the ongoing debate, whether both entities represent distinct diseases or variants within ...

Determining neutralino parameters in Left-Right Supersymmetric Models

open access: yes, 2005
We report exact analytical expressions relating the fundamental parameters describing the neutralino sector in the context of the left-right supersymmetric model.

Neutralino relic density in a Universe with a non-vanishing cosmological constant [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We discuss the relic density of the lightest of the supersymmetric particles in view of new cosmological data, which favour the concept of an accelerating Universe with a non-vanishing cosmological constant.

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

First PPMXL photometric analysis of open cluster "Ruprecht 15"

open access: yes, 2011
We present here our first series in studying the astrophysical parameters of the open cluster "Ruprecht 15" using PPMXL1 database. In this context, the photometric, astrometry and statistical parameters for this cluster (limited radius, core and tidal ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

SARS-CoV-2 infection reduces quality of sperm parameters: prospective one year follow-up study in 93 patientsResearch in context

open access: yesEBioMedicine, 2023
Summary: Background: Short- and long-term implications of SARS-CoV-2 on the quality of the sperm and the results of this on fertility remain largely unknown due to lack of longitudinal studies.

Investigating Context Parameters in Technology Term Recognition [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the COLING Workshop on Synchronic and Diachronic Approaches to Analyzing Technical Language, 2014
We propose and evaluate the task of technology term recognition: a method to extract technology terms at a synchronic level from a corpus of scientific publications. The proposed method is built on the principles of terminology extraction and distributional semantics. It is realized as a regression task in a vector space model.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
