A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

Large Deviations for Continuous Time Random Walks
Recently observation of random walks in complex environments like the cell and other glassy systems revealed that the spreading of particles, at its tails, follows a spatial exponential decay instead of the canonical Gaussian.

On Probabilistic Automata in Continuous Time [PDF]
We develop a compositional behavioural model that integrates a variation of probabilistic automata into a conservative extension of interactive Markov chains. The model is rich enough to embody the semantics of generalised stochastic Petri nets. We define strong and weak bisimulations and discuss their compositionality properties.

Continuous time delta sigma modulators with reduced clock jitter sensitivity [PDF]
In this paper, a technique and method is presented to suppress the effect of clock-jitter in continuous-time delta-sigma modulators with switched-current (current-steering) digital to analogue converters.

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients requiring long‐term continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) generally have poor prognoses. This study evaluated whether adding continuous intravenous sodium infusion (cIVNa) is associated with improved hemodynamics and outcomes in patients undergoing long‐term CRRT for ≥ 7 days.

Continuous Adaptive Finite Reaching Time Control and Second-Order Sliding modes [PDF]
This paper focuses on the design of adaptive finite reaching time control for first- and second-order dynamic systems with perturbation terms given in a regressive form. The uncertainties considered here are assumed to be bounded with unknown bounds. The

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Three-Prey One-Predator Continuous Time Nonlinear System Model
In this paper, we propose a new multiple-prey one-predator continuous time nonlinear system model, in which the number of teams of preys is equal to 3; namely, a continuous time three-prey one-predator model is put forward and studied.

Diversified Portfolios in Continuous Time [PDF]
Abstract We study a financial market containing an infinite number of assets, where each asset price is driven by an idiosyncratic random source as well as by a systematic noise term. Introducing ”asymptotic assets“ which correspond to certain infinitely well diversified portfolios we study absence of (asymptotic) arbitrage, and in this ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
