Multimarket contact in continuous-time games

Economics Letters, 2008
Abstract This paper investigates whether multimarket contact is effective in increasing the value of collusion. We show that for any discount rate, the set of equilibrium payoffs (average per market) expands through multimarket contact in continuous-time games.

Stochastic Game Theoretic trajectory optimization in continuous time

2016 IEEE 55th Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2016
A Stochastic Game Theoretic Differential Dynamic Programming (SGT-DDP) algorithm is derived to solve a differential game under stochastic dynamics. We present the update law for the minimizing and maximizing controls for both players and provide a set of backward differential equations for the second order value function approximation.

Game Theoretic continuous time Differential Dynamic Programming

2015 American Control Conference (ACC), 2015
In this work, we derive a Game Theoretic Differential Dynamic Programming (GT-DDP) algorithm in continuous time. We provide a set of backward differential equations for the value function expansion without assuming closeness of the initial nominal control to the optimal control solution, and derive the update law for the controls.

Extensive Form Games in Continuous Time: Pure Strategies

Econometrica, 1989
We propose a new framework for games in continuous time that conforms as closely as possible to the conventional discrete-time framework. In this paper, we take the view that continuous time can be viewed as "discrete time, but with a grid that is infinitely fine." Specifically, we define a class of continuous-time strategies with the following ...

Reputation Effects and Equilibrium Degeneracy in Continuous-Time Games [PDF]

open access: possible, 2007
We study a class of continuous-time reputation games between a large player and a population of small players in which the actions of the large player are imperfectly observable. The large player is either a normal type, who behaves strategically, or a behavioral type, who is committed to playing a certain strategy.
