Simultaneous extension of continuous and uniformly continuous functions [PDF]
The first known continuous extension result was obtained by Lebesgue in 1907. In 1915, Tietze published his famous extension theorem generalising Lebesgue's result from the plane to general metric spaces. He constructed the extension by an explicit formula involving the distance function on the metric space.

On extension of pairwise θ-continuous maps
The aim of the paper is to find suitable conditions so as to ultimately establish the existence and uniqueness of the extension of a pairwise θ-continuous map onto an arbitrary extension-space of a bitopological space.

Continuous extension in topological digital spaces [PDF]
We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a continuous extension from a smallest-neighborhood space (Alexandrov space) X to the Khalimsky line. Using this result, we classify the subsets A X such that every continuous function A !

Measure-Based Extension of Continuous Functions and p-Average-Slope-Minimizing Regression
This work is inspired by some recent developments on the extension of Lipschitz real functions based on the minimization of the maximum value of the slopes of a reference set for this function.

A New Extension Form for Continuous Probability Distributions: Uniform-X Distributions
In this paper, generating extension forms for continuous probability distribution functions is studied. The considered transformer function is applied to three well-known probability distributions- Normal, Kumaraswamy, Weibull- and new extensions of ...

Discrete-to-Continuous Extensions: Lovász Extension and Morse Theory
AbstractThis is the first of a series of papers that develop a systematic bridge between constructions in discrete mathematics and the corresponding continuous analogs. In this paper, we establish an equivalence between Forman’s discrete Morse theory on a simplicial complex and the continuous Morse theory (in the sense of any known non-smooth Morse ...

ON THE PROBLEM OF MEAN PERIODIC EXTENSION
This paper is devoted to a study of the following version of the mean periodic extension problem: (i) Suppose that 𝑇 ∈ ℰ′ (R^𝑛), 𝑛 ≥ 2, and 𝐸 is a non-empty subset of R^𝑛. Let 𝑓 ∈ 𝐶(𝐸).
