Investigating the effect of continuous and partial reinforcement in conceptual fear generalization

open access: yesScientific Reports
Fear generalization plays a major role in the acquisition and maintenance of anxiety disorders. In fear generalization, conditioned fear responses are observed for novel stimuli sharing perceptually or conceptually similar properties with the conditioned

Construction of continuous $g$-frames and continuous fusion frames [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2016
A generalization of the known results in fusion frames and $g$-frames theory to continuous fusion frames which defined by M. H. Faroughi and R. Ahmadi, is presented in this study. Continuous resolution of the identity (CRI) is introduced, a new family of

MULTIPLICATIVE NEURAL NETWORK COMBINATION OF HURST AND MUROTA-TAKEUCHI STATISTICAL CRITERIA IN CHECKING THE HYPOTHESIS OF NORMALITY OF SMALL SAMPLES

open access: yesНадежность и качество сложных систем, 2022
Background. The problem of analyzing small samples by combining several statistical criteria created in the last century is considered. The Hirst test, the Anderson-Darling test, and the Murota-Takeuchi test are combined. Materials and methods.

Perspectives in educating molecular pathologists on liquid biopsy: Toward integrative, equitable, and decentralized precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Liquid biopsy enables minimally invasive, real‐time molecular profiling through analysis of circulating biomarkers in biological fluids. This Perspective highlights the importance of training pathologists through integrative educational programs, such as the European Masters in Molecular Pathology, to ensure effective and equitable implementation of ...

On the inverse image of Baire spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1997
In 1961, Z. Frolik proved that if f is an open and continuous mapping of a metrizable separable space X onto Baire space Y and if the point inverses are Baire spaces, then X is a Baire space.

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

On Neutrosophic Generalized Alpha Generalized Continuity

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems, 2020
This article demonstrates a further class of neutrosophic closed sets named neutrosophic generalized g-closed sets and discuss their essential characteristics in neutrosophic topological spaces. Moreover, we submit neutrosophic generalized g-continuous functions with their elegant features.

Targeting p38α in cancer: challenges, opportunities, and emerging strategies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
p38α normally regulates cellular stress responses and homeostasis and suppresses malignant transformation. In cancer, however, p38α is co‐opted to drive context‐dependent proliferation and dissemination. p38α also supports key functions in cells of the tumor microenvironment, including fibroblasts, myeloid cells, and T lymphocytes.

Some Properties of Contra gb-continuous Functions

open access: yesJournal of New Results in Science, 2012
We introduce some properties of functions called contra gb-continuous function which is a generalization of contra b-continuous functions [3].

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
