Limit cycles of continuous and discontinuous piecewise-linear differential systems in R³
We study the limit cycles of two families of piecewise-linear differential systems in R³ with two pieces separated by a plane Ʃ. In one family the differential systems are only continuous on the plane Ʃ, and in the other family they are only discontinuous on the plane Ʃ.

Andronov-Hopf Bifurcations in Planar, Piecewise-Smooth, Continuous Flows
An equilibrium of a planar, piecewise-$C^1$, continuous system of differential equations that crosses a curve of discontinuity of the Jacobian of its vector field can undergo a number of discontinuous or border-crossing bifurcations.

On Switching Stabilizability for Continuous-Time Switched Linear Systems
This paper studies switching stabilization problems for continuous-time switched linear systems. We consider four types of switching stabilizability defined under different assumptions on the switching control input.

Defect correction from a galerkin viewpoint [PDF]
We consider the numerical solution of systems of nonlinear two point boundary value problems by Galerkin's method. An initial solution is computed with piecewise linear approximating functions and this is then improved by using higher—order piecewise ...

Two-parameter nonsmooth grazing bifurcations of limit cycles: classification and open problems [PDF]
This paper proposes a strategy for the classification of codimension-two grazing bifurcations of limit cycles in piecewise smooth systems of ordinary differential equations.

This paper is a survey on the study of the maximum number of limit cycles of planar continuous and discontinuous piecewise linear differential systems defined in two half-planes separated by a straight line L. We restrict our attention to the crossing limit cycles, i.e. to the limit cycles having exactly two points on the straight line L.

In this article we introduce a class of discontinuous almost automorphic functions which appears naturally in the study of almost automorphic solutions of differential equations with piecewise constant argument.
