Laser Marking Hatch Contour Generation

Proceedings of the 2021 1st International Conference on Control and Intelligent Robotics, 2021
Laser marking has been widely used in industrial processing. For different hatching methods, the operating efficiency and the clarity of the marking pattern are also different. Herein, we realize the zigzag parallel and contour parallel hatch of the single-layer and multi-layer contour pattern respectively based on different parameters, evaluate the ...

Generalization of the eigenvalues by contour integrals

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2007
The authors starts with the remark that two solutions of the differential equation \[ y''+\{\lambda +n(n+1)\text{sech}^2(x)\}y(x,\lambda)=0 \] where \(\lambda=-s^2\) is a spectral parameter, \(n\) a positive integer, can be given explicitly by contour integrals \[ y_1=\text{cosh}^{n+1}x\int_C\text{cosh}(sz)(\text{sinh}z-\text{sinh}x)^{-n-1}\,dz \] and \

Generalized contour models

Journal of Soviet Mathematics, 1983
The paper is devoted to the study of the \(\nu\)-dimensional (\(\nu \geq 2)\) lattice models with spins taking values in any closed subset of \({\mathbb{R}}^ N\). The two body nearest neighbours interaction is assumed. The general method of investigation of the lattice stochastic Gibbs fields for the low temperature in the case of finite or countable ...

The Generic-Viewpoint Assumption and Illusory Contours

Perception, 2000
Visual images are ambiguous. Any image, or collection of images, is consistent with an infinite number of possible scenes in the world. Yet we are generally unaware of this ambiguity. During ordinary perception we are generally aware of only one, or perhaps a few of these possibilities.

Generation of Surface Contours by Moiré Patterns

Applied Optics, 1970
For a number of years, observations have been made of contour-like patterns created by the moiré interference of a grid with its shadow cast onto a surface. The conditions under which these patterns correspond to planar contours are derived, and systems to generate these contours are suggested.

Generative modeling of speech F0 contours

Interspeech 2013, 2013
This paper introduces our ongoing work on generative modeling of speech fundamental frequency (F0) contours for estimating prosodic features from raw speech data. The present F0 contour model is formulated by translating the Fujisaki model, a well-founded mathematical model representing the control mechanism of vocal fold vibration, into a ...

Contouring variability of human- and deformable-generated contours in radiotherapy for prostate cancer

Physics in Medicine and Biology, 2015
This study was designed to evaluate contouring variability of human-and deformable-generated contours on planning CT (PCT) and CBCT for ten patients with low-or intermediate-risk prostate cancer. For each patient in this study, five radiation oncologists contoured the prostate, bladder, and rectum, on one PCT dataset and five CBCT datasets.

Expectancies generated by tonal contour

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1990
Expectancies generated by tonal contour were examined in a two-part study. Listeners (N = 61) were presented with eight-note sequences followed by a probe tone. Subjects rated the fit of the probe to the sequence in a two-level (good or poor), forced-choice decision. For each probe, the proportion of good-fit replies provided a rating of its expectancy.

Contour generation by rainbow holography

Journal of Optics, 1980
A single-step rainbow holographic process has been used for contouring of a three dimensional object. The process gives bright, three dimensional and speckle free images in different colours with high contrast contours, when reconstructed by a polychromatic source of light such as a slide projector lamp.
